Michael Robinson has established the Maren Robinson ’87 Legal Fellowship at Northeastern's Roux Institute, honoring the memory of his mother, a 1987 graduate of the School of Law and a lifelong advocate for the underserved.
Building a 40-Year Successful Career as a General Electric Mechanical Engineer
Robert Kursmark, E’73, credits his four co-ops, including two at General Dynamics Electric Boat and two at Bolt Beranek and Newman, Inc., with helping him build a solid foundation for a four-decade-long successful career at General Electric Aerospace. Retired, he now works as a consultant for GE and says his co-op experiences gave him “the chance of a lifetime.”

James Sibley and Sebastian Sanchez harnessed the often-ignored power of seaweed and combined it with chocolate to create Phytabar, a nutrition bar full of omega-3s. They've since won first place in the Husky Startup Challenge and raised $25,000 for their venture.
